All of our programs originally operate in New York City. In the wake of COVID-19, our office quickly adapted and transferred all projects and programs to be fully remote to protect the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and interns. Please explore our list of active projects. Detailed descriptions and information has been collected by participating members and can be found by clicking the title.
**Please note | (a) Because of the systemic shutdown of civil society access to the United Nations caused by COVID-19 and reduced NI funding in 2020, all projects listed at this time are volunteer and fully remote with meet-ups, classes, workshops and panels all on numerous digital platforms. There is no guarantee of UN Passes nor Grant Access for your work. (b) All participants must be enrolled in one of our active programs, and are responsible for the completion and success of their individual projects. (c) Availability is limited, the leadership of Nonviolence International is dedicated to the success of all members of the network. We pride ourselves in the individual attention and the successes of each network member. (d) This is a volunteer powered international network of people dedicated to both building and making real impacts in their communities. In NYC alone, our office has hosted over three thousand volunteers, interns, students and/or participants over the past four years. If accepted into a program, you will become a treasured part of this community regardless of your physical location. Successful completion of any program puts you on our Alumni list with special opportunities and access to our larger network.
